City of Ocala General Election

Only registered voters who live within the Ocala city limits are eligible to vote in this election.
Voter Registration Deadline: August 21, 2023

Early Voting: September 14, 2023 to September 16, 2023, 10 AM to 6 PM

Mail Ballot Request Deadline: September 7, 2023 by 5 PM
Mail ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office by 7 PM Election Day to be counted

Election Day: September 19, 2023 - Polls open 7 AM to 7 PM

IMPORTANT: Florida is a closed primary election state. Only voters who are registered members of political parties may vote for respective party candidates or nominees for an office in a Primary Election including a Presidential Preference Primary Election. All registered voters, regardless of party affiliation, may vote on issues and nonpartisan races during a Primary Election. Voters can change their party affiliation by submitting an updated Voter Registration Application at any time, but the change must be made 29 days before a Primary Election to be effective for that election. At a General Election, all registered voters receive the same ballot and may vote for any candidate or question on the ballot.
